THE TIGERS ARE PLAYING - TONIGHT

CAN YOU FLY, BOBBY?

Robocop is one of the best and smartest sci-fi movies ever made. There is shit going on in Robocop – smart shit, cerebral shit – that is happening so deep down you won’t unpack it for years. You want statements on preferable economic systems? You want a poignant look at choice behavior and organizational theory? Are you looking for some crazy intelligent projections on technology and the likely generational impact therein?

ROBOGOD GAVE HIS ONLY SONBOT

John 3.14159265

Are you looking for some fucking hell of legit satire about American culture and society? How about a cyborg Christ-like figure? Is that enough for you? Is Robochrist good enough for you?

The only movie better than Robocop is Blade.

Score: Robocop gets a 5 out of 5.

As an adult, I can’t relate to that anymore, and that’s exactly why I thought it was stupid. But teenagers obviously can relate to it, as these are the issues that take on all-encompassing importance – doin’ it or not. I vaguely remember being that way, and that remembrance is how I started to gain some understanding into A) why Twilight is so popular, and B) why it actually sort of works as a series of movies.
