The Expendables is exactly what you think it is.
The writing and dialog are terrible. The action is incredibly macho and awesome.
I would write more, but that’s really all there is to it.

BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! yeah bro. i worked on that movie for a day last summer and there was more testosterone in the air than a teen aged boy’s correctional facility. stalone never stopped chaining giant cigars all day, mickey was so twisted on drugs he couldn’t stop drooling, jet moved in a roaming pack of his family and entourage, terry kept punching me every time he made a joke, dolf was a giant and never said a word to anyone, and jason statham was pretty much what you would expect. it was a 23 hour drag assed sweaty muggy day in new orleans. never again bro. never again.
